Addie, our non-releasable beaver, is here to show off what a healthy beaver looks like. She’s one of the three beavers we have in care. Addie was born in the wild in South Carolina. Unfortunately, her family was killed by trappers when she was extremely young. Addie was brought to a local rehab where, traumatized, she bonded strongly to humans and began seeing people as beavers.
