Disney's profit and revenue climbed in its fiscal third quarter based on the strength of the entertainment company's streaming service and domestic theme parks.

ESPN’s much-discussed streaming service finally has its launch date. The network announced Wednesday that its direct-to-consumer service and enhanced app will debut Aug. 21. The announcement coincided with Disney’s quarterly earning report.

It has been reported that Peacock and USA Network will retain the broadcasting rights of WWE SmackDown in the U.S. This new deal with Disney doesn’t affect WWE’s $5 billion deal with Netflix. The streaming giant continues to own the rights for all PLEs in the international market. Also, Raw and SmackDown will continue to stream on Netflix.
