Russia on Sunday scaled down the festivities honoring its navy citing security concerns as continuing Ukrainian drone attacks posed a challenge to the Kremlin.

A Russian air strike on Kyiv injured at least eight people, including a child. The blast damaged buildings and cars, but no fires broke out. Ukraine also reported 153 combat engagements along the front lines.
