Grey's Anatomy and Euphoria star Eric Dane revealed he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). And, most recently, he opened up about his battle with the incurable disease in a sit-down with Diane Sawyer for Good Morning America.

The Greys Anatomy star, 52, revealed in April that he's battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which progressively weakens muscles and affects physical function. There is no cure for the condition.

Eric Dane called his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, his "biggest champion" following his ALS diagnosis in April 2025. The couple were married for 14 years before Gayheart filed for divorce in February 2018,
