That officially closed out the series 4-2 and gave the Panthers back-to-back titles and their second championship in franchise history.

The Panthers won their second consecutive championship on home ice Tuesday night, beating Edmonton in six games. The team, following decades of tradition, partied with the Cup into the wee hours and kept the revelry going in Fort Lauderdale well into Wednesday afternoon.

The Florida Panthers have won their second NHL title in as many years, and after defeating the Oilers, will have their names etched into Lord Stanley's Cup.
