The New York Yankees' offense is drifting toward uncharted territory — and not in a good way. The team tied a franchise record by getting shut out for the third straight game Tuesday night, when the Yankees went 0 for 10 with runners on base in a 4-0 loss to the Los Angeles Angels.

“It’s been a fight,’’ said Cody Bellinger, following the Yanks’ fifth straight defeat – their longest losing streak since August 2023. After being swept at Fenway Park, the AL East-leading Yanks (42-30) went 1-for-18 with runners in scoring position Monday against the Angels (35-37), then on Tuesday never got a runner to third base.

The team-wide funk deepened Tuesday, when they pushed their scoreless streak to 29 consecutive innings during a 4-0 loss to the Angels in front of 35,278 fans — who tried their best to voice their displeasure over the blaring speakers in The Bronx.
