Ryan Preece will start from the pole for the second time in his career in Saturday night's Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway. Preece is still looking to lock a berth into the NASCAR Cup Series Playoff field.

Kyle Busch was fastest in Friday’s NASCAR Cup Series practice at Richmond Raceway at 118.172mph (22.848s).Busch led the way over John Hunter Nemechek (118.110mph) and Denny Hamlin (117.909mph). Noah Gragson was fourth fastest at 117.

Ryan Preece is on the pole for the NASCAR race tomorrow at Richmond Raceway. Right behind in the Cook Out 400 is Tyler Reddick, followed by AJ Allmendinger (third), Denny Hamlin (fourth) and Chase Elliott (fifth). Kyle Larson is starting 30th in the NASCAR starting grid on Saturday for the Cook Out 400 at Richmond.
