Kylian Mbappe is unlikely to feature for Real Madrid when they face Pachuca in the Club World Cup on Sunday. The Frenchman missed his side’s tournament opener and it was then revealed he had been hospitalised with an "acute case of gastroenteritis".

Kylian Mbappé is yet to rejoin Real Madrid training following his hospitalization with acute gastroenteritis last week. Mbappé was unexpectedly absent as Los Blancos played out a frustrating tie against Al Hilal in the first game of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Kylian Mbappe was discharged from hospital after an acute case of gastroenteritis and it is not known when he will be able to play for Real Madrid at the Club World Cup.
