Former Massachusetts State Police Trooper Michael Proctor said he should get his job back following the conclusion of Karen Read's trial.

The former Massachusetts state trooper who was fired over his conduct in the Karen Read case called accusations that he’s corrupt and helped frame her “ridiculous,” saying in an interview that “there’s not one piece of evidence or fact to support that.

A jury found Karen Read not guilty of second-degree murder after prosecutors retried her for the death of her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O’Keefe. The jury did convict Read on a lesser charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor.
