Soon after the pop megastar announced her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl on Wednesday, Aug. 13 — which included the reveal that she enlisted the "Manchild" singer for the title track — Carpenter, 26, took to Instagram Stories to share her excitement over their forthcoming team-up.

As the episode dropped at 7 p.m. ET, the Grammy winner also released the long-awaited cover of the album on Instagram, in addition to the entire setlist, which includes the song “The Life of a Showgirl” with Sabrina Carpenter.
