Mounties in British Columbia's Interior say human remains found last month have been confirmed as being a woman who went missing near Sicamous nearly eight years ago.

A Redondo Beach boater, a man experiencing homelessness and a fisherman who went missing after his boat was discovered crashed, have been identified by a human femur, a human skull and body parts found at the beach and shoreline,

Missoula County Sheriff Jeremiah Petersen says the remains are those of 42-year-old Nicole Heimer of Missoula.
