The US president left the economic bloc's summit ahead of schedule last night, with the White House confirming he had to see to affairs at home as Israel's strikes on Iran continue.
Before leaving, President Trump joined the other leaders in issuing a statement saying Iran "can never have a nuclear weapon" and calling for a "de-escalation of hostilities in the Middle East.
