Liverpool has agreed a transfer deal for Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz, which could become a British record move, including all the add-ons.

Liverpool supporters were understandably left last week after it emerged that their club had struck a record deal with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz. The Reds had two bids rejected, the last one of £113m, which would have seen £100m paid up front with performance-related add-ons, but have finally got the deal over the line.
