Formula 1’s financial boom shifted into another gear this year as Ferrari again topped Sportico’s annual team valuations, anchoring a grid

Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc downplayed Ferrari chairman John Elkann's criticism of their performances this season, insisting the comments were intended to be positive.

Speaking on F1's Beyond The Grid podcast, Marko revealed that he was in advanced talks to race for the Scuderia. He said: "I drove a Ferrari sports car. I was on pole and finished second and I got an offer for F1... From Ferrari. It was already [signed]."

But F1 fans are not buying it in the slightest. Writing under one post on X (formerly Twitter), they accused Ferrari of being in ‘damage control’ mode as they try to diffuse the ongoing rift within the team.

Former F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone is refusing to rule out a possible move to Ferrari for Christian Horner. Horner is out of work after leaving Red Bull earlier this year. He was replaced by Laurent Mekies ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix, but officially left the team in September.
