Manchester United have reportedly shown interest in Angelo Stiller of Stuttgart as an alternative to Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba. The Red Devils' opening game of the 2025-26 season ended in defeat against Arsenal, but boss Ruben Amorim will have been delighted with his side's strong display.

Manchester United have been keeping tabs on Brighton’s midfield powerhouse Carlos Baleba all summer, but a reported sell-on clause in his contract is being viewed as a major stumbling block to thrash out a transfer deal.

However, the Manchester Evening News later confirmed that United had no intention of using Collyer as leverage for Baleba, after the Cameroonian star became a serious transfer target for the Red Devils earlier this month.
