More than 10,000 Air Canada flight attendants will continue their strike despite back-to-work orders from the Canadian government, the Air Canada component of the Canadian Union of Public Employees said Sunday.

Roughly 10,000 Air Canada flight attendants have refused a government order to get back to work—forcing Canada’s flagship carrier to halt service “until further notice.”

Air Canada pulled its financial guidance through year-end, citing the impact of a strike by flight attendants that has caused the airline to cancel hundreds of flights.
