The First Lady, 55, took to Instagram on Saturday to share a heartwarming message dedicated to the survivors from the Christian girls' summer camp devastated by a flash flood on July 4.

"It’s hard to believe the devastation," Trump said. "Trees that are 100 years old just ripped out of the ground. I've never seen anything like this, and I've seen a lot of bad ones."

Mr. Trump and Abbott promised to rebuild the devastated region, although the president recognized that what was lost can never be recovered.

This is not the first time Trump has raised the idea of removing someone’s citizenship. He has threatened Elon Musk and Zohran Mamdani, most recently.

The floods claimed the lives of several children who had been attending a girls’ summer camp located near the Guadalupe River, where rising water levels swept away cabins, bridges and roads.

A large majority of the deaths from last weekend's flooding occured in Kerrville and the surrounding area. At least 120 people have been killed across Texas, with 161 still missing. Trump will be joined in Kerrville by Governor Greg Abbott and Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz.

When a reporter asked PresidentTrump about what his message is to Texas families who have questioned the timeliness of flood alerts, he responded, "Only a bad person would ask a question like that."

A reporter from CBS News Texas asked the president Friday if more lives could've been saved if emergency alerts were issued earlier.
