A powerful 7.4 earthquake has struck off the coast of Russia, with the tremor felt in Alaska, Japan, and Hawaii, prompting tsunami warnings to be issued in the region

Russia has been rocked by two earthquakes, including a huge magnitude 7.4 shock, and now the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has issued a warning for the country's Kamchatka Peninsula.

Three quakes, with one magnitude 7.4, recorded near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, capital of Russia’s Kamchatka region.
