LOS ANGELES — Michael Madsen, the actor best known for his coolly menacing, steely-eyed, often sadistic characters in the films of Quentin Tarantino including Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill: Vol. 2, has died.

Michael Madsen, whose menacing characters in Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill made him a standout in Quentin Tarantino's films, has died. He was 67.

Michael Madsen was found dead in his Malibu home on June 3. He was 67 years old. Harvey Keitel, who starred in Reservoir Dogs with Masden paid tribute to the late actor.
