Mikel Arteta was full of praise for Viktor Gyökeres as he got off the mark for Arsenal in the Gunners’ final preseason friendly of the summer defeating Athletic Club at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal brushed aside Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in a preseason clash as new signing took centre stage with valiant effort.

Fortunately, so have the Gunners, as Mikel Arteta’s squad has been strengthened with six new faces.  The number is expected to rise, as the incomings will be balanced by suspected outgoings, with it very clear that Arsenal need at least one more signing.
