OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators have signed defenceman Lassi Thomson to a one-year, two-way contract for the 2025-26 season, the team announced Sunday.

Lassi Thomson is coming home. As Postmedia first reported on Sunday, the Ottawa Senators have signed the 24-year-old Thomson to a one-year, two-way deal after the club’s first-round pick in the 2019 National Hockey League draft spent last year with Malmo Redhawks in the Swedish Hockey League.

The Ottawa Senators have announced that they’ve signed defenseman Lassi Thomson to a one-year, $775,000 contract. Thomson was a free agent after spending a year in the Swedish Hockey League with the Malmo Redhawks.
