Patriots Legend Joins Pat McAfee on ESPN for Bill Belichick’s UNC Coaching Debut originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The presence of six-time Super Bowl winner Bill Belichick has already brought plenty of added attention to the North Carolina Tar Heels football team.

Nick Saban, a former NFL assistant under Belichick and one of the coach's close friends, will be on set for the game, along with his GameDay colleagues Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and reporter Pete Thamel. Matt Barrie will host the show, and former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi will also be on hand for the show.

Belichick avoided the rows of radio reporters in the hotel lobby and spent much of the morning in a hallway outside the green room for players and coaches, down the hall from private rooms for interviews with ESPN.com, SiriusXM and the ACC Digital Network.
