A jury has found Adam Drake guilty of second-degree murder in the death of battle rapper Pat Stay. Stay was fatally stabbed 2½ years ago at a downtown Halifax nightclub. Gareth Hampshire has the story.

A Nova Scotia jury has found a 34-year-old man guilty of second-degree murder in the killing of battle rapper Pat Stay, a 36-year-old father of two who was fatally stabbed 2½ years ago at a downtown Halifax nightclub.

Drake was convicted on that charge last October following a judge-alone trial in Supreme Court. Justice Timothy Gabriel imposed the mandatory penalty of life in prison with no parole eligibility for 25 years at a sentencing hearing in December.
