The Associated Press preseason Top 25 college football poll is out and it's topped by Texas for the first time in an opening poll

Led by No. 1 Texas, the Big Ten and SEC combine to occupy seven of the top nine spots in both the AP and coaches' polls, and 11 of the top 15.
