Caitlin Clark found herself at the center of unwanted controversy during the Indiana Fever's win over the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday after getting involved in a scuffle with Sun players in the third quarter.

After the contact to Clark’s face, Sheldon appeared to close the gap between the two of them, leading to the two players pushing each other away. As Clark reeled from the poke in the eye, Sun guard Marina Mabrey ran towards Clark and knocked her to the ground.
