Thousands of passengers are facing another day of travel disruptions as Air Canada flight attendants continue to strike despite a federal return-to-work order.

FlightAware's online flight tracker shows there have been 124 flight cancellations at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) over the past 24 hours alone. The union has directed its members to continue job action, defying a CIRB order for its members to return to work at 9 a.m. on Monday (Vancouver time).

The independent tribunal that administers Canada's labour laws has deemed the strike by Air Canada's some 10,000 flight attendants illegal and is ordering workers back to the skies.
