The incident unfolded on the morning of Sept. 1, when multiple suspects forced their way into a residence near McCowan Road in Markham.

Police in York Region say two more suspects have been charged in a Markham, Ont., home invasion earlier this month that also involved an alleged shooting and kidnapping.

The two additional suspects were arrested Sept. 25 following the Sept. 1 home invasion where a 54-year-old man was shot and suffered serious injuries.

A 54-year-old man was seriously hurt when he was shot after multiple suspects broke into a home near McCowan Road and 14th Avenue just before 9 a.m. on Sept. 1, say York police.
