By Tim Hepher, Paul Sandle, Joe Brock and Giulia Segreti PARIS (Reuters) - Airbus secured more aircraft orders on Wednesday, raising its total to $21 billion at this week’s subdued Paris Air Show, while rival Boeing opted not to announce new sales following last week’s Air India 787 crash.

On June 12, a London-bound Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed soon after taking off from Ahmedabad, leaving only one survivor among the 242 passengers and crew on board. The aircraft slammed into a residential area, killing at least 38 people on the ground.

India's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau said in a statement it has recovered the digital flight data recorder, or the black box, of the Air India plane from a rooftop near the crash site.
