Accessing saved files on Windows 11 has never been easier, thanks to the new Dropbox beta app integration across the File Explorer and Taskbar.

Dropbox announced an update called Project Infinite, allowing users to access cloud storage from Finder and Explorer without needing to download files.

All your files still appear in File Explorer, but if it’s not saved to your PC the file takes up zero space. If that sounds familiar, you were (or are) a Windows 8.1 user.

Moreover, the desktop app doesn't merely allow drag-and-drop with Explorer: it lets me use Explorer for all aspects of Dropbox file management, since all the files are synced locally.
