Reports have suggested that the United States is mulling to enter the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict alongside Tel Aviv.

"We would like to particularly warn Washington against military intervention in the situation, which would be an extremely dangerous step with truly unpredictable negative consequences," Russia's foreign ministry's spokeswoman said.

Russia’s relations with Israel are complicated. Although the Soviet Union initially supported the creation of the state of Israel, it soon threw its weight behind Arab nations and backed the Palestinian cause.
