This script will try to connect to the domain controller using the WMI module and query the operating system information. If the connection is successful, it will print the OS name and version.

This is a wrapper around wmi-client for Linux. Apparently the python-wmi module uses Windows APIs to access WMI, which isn't something that is going to work on Linux.
