Two years ago its case seemed dead in the water, but Oracle now can pursue its high-profile copyright suit against Google over Android's use of Java.

Oracle's overall theme was that Google took a "shortcut" by using Java APIs. Android chief Andy Rubin stood to make $60 million in incentive payments if Android shipped on schedule.
