Canada Day fireworks at Victoria's Inner Harbour will start at 10:20 p.m., preceded by a seven-minute drone show. • Canada Day programming will start Tuesday at 11 a.m. around the Inner Harbour and legislature grounds. There will be a busking showcase at Ship Point from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a Kid Zone near the Royal B.C. Museum.

Vancouver city hall will be closed on Canada Day, reopening on July 2, Wednesday. It’s a similar situation for government offices, including Service Canada and passport offices and ICBC locations. Canada Post will not be collecting or delivering mail on July 1. Banks will also be closed.

The largest July 1 event in Vancouver, Canada Together will feature classic Canada Day events like live local bands, a kids zone, and food trucks. It'll also feature a citizenship ceremony where 40 new Canadians will join the nation. An Indigenous marketplace with art, home decor and more is also on offer.
