Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 27-year-old woman from Niagara Falls. Officers say Mackenzie Pender was last seen on May 8 near her residence in the McLeod Road and Drummond Road area of Niagara Falls. Authorities add that there is growing concern for her well-being among both her family and investigators.

The province’s police watchdog has been called to investigate after cops shot and killed a man wanted for parole violations in Niagara Falls on Wednesday. Niagara Regional Police say they were notified that there had been a “police-involved shooting” in the area of Stanley Ave. and Peer St. around 11:15 a.m.
