Dancing and music filled King Drive at Milwaukee's 54th annual Juneteenth celebration on June 19. The day featured a vibrant parade, live music, dance performances, art, food, speakers, vendors and activities for all ages. Some attendees shared what Juneteenth means to them.

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee is home to one of the oldest Juneteenth celebrations in the nation. Those celebrations kick off Thursday morning, June 19 with a parade. This year marks the 54th recognition of Juneteenth in Milwaukee. The parade kicks off at 9 a.m. followed by opening ceremonies at 11 a.m.
