Rookie pitcher Jacob Misiorowski, a surprise addition to the National League All-Star team after just five MLB starts, was placed on the injured list.

Misiorowski's fellow rookie Logan Henderson was called up from Class AAA Nashville. Outfielder Jackson Chourio was placed on the injured list with a right hamstring strain on Aug. 1, and Sal Frelick left the game Aug. 2 with left knee soreness and is considered day-to-day.
