Federal immigration agents clashed with protesters during a dramatic raid at a Ventura County, California cannabis farm, deploying gas and detaining multiple individuals.
Federal agents were met by dozens of protesters Thursday when they descended Glass House Farms in rural Camarillo, Calif., to conduct an immigration enforcement operation.
The advocacy groups asked the judge to block the administration from using “unconstitutional tactics” in immigration raids, including detaining people on the basis of race and denying detainees access to legal counsel.
