The catastrophic flooding in Central Texas has left more than 100 people dead, including Houston-area residents.

As of Friday, the Central Texas flooding has claimed the lives of 18 Houston-area residents, including a family of three.

Gary and DeeAnn Knetsch were camping directly next to the Guadalupe River with their son, Jake Moeller, his wife, Megan and their five-year-old daughter, Harley. Gary, DeeAnn, Jake and Megan all lost their lives. Harley is still among the missing. Both families lived in Canyon Lake but have ties to the Houston and Mont Belvieu areas.

The Texas Flooding Emotional Support Line provides free crisis counseling from personnel trained to work with disaster survivors, according to a press release.

Central Texas flash floods claimed at least 52 lives, with Devyn Smith as the sole survivor from her family of six as of yet.

A family made another trip to Texas' Hill Country with donations provided by people in the Greater Houston area. FOX 26's Leslie DelasBour caught up with the family before they left.

The pediatrician allegedly wrote "Kerr County MAGA voted to gut FEMA. They deny climate change. May they get what they voted for."

Dr. Christina Propst, a Houston pediatrician, was fired after recent comments over the deadly Texas Hill Country floods.

The Humane Society from Houston and North Texas went to Central Texas to pick up over 100 dogs and cats from the flood rubble.
