The Florida Panthers completed their Stanley Cup repeat in style with a 5-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers in Game 6 on Tuesday as four goals from Sam Reinhart helped them clinch back-to-back championships in front of an ecstatic home crowd in Sunrise.

The Florida Panthers repeated as Stanley Cup champions by beating the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 of the final on Tuesday night, becoming the NHL’s first back-to-back winners since Tampa Bay in 2020 and ’21 and the third team to do it this century.

Florida crushed the Edmonton Oilers, 5-2, in Game 5 to break the best-of-seven deadline and pull within one win of defending their title. The Panthers could be the first NHL team since 1978 to capture consecutive Stanley Cups against the same opponent.
