Edan Alexander, an Israeli-American soldier and believed to be the last living American hostage held in Gaza, has returned home to New Jersey.

Residents of Tenafly, New Jersey, came together on Thursday to celebrate the homecoming of freed American-Israeli hostage Edan Alexander.

Supporters lined the streets, waving Israeli flags and holding signs of support for Edan Alexander, whose return has been the subject of nearly two years of prayer and hope.
