When Joe Torre agreed to visit the Yankees as a guest instructor two springs ago, it took a bit of cajoling on manager Aaron Boone’s part. After some initial reluctance to put the pinstripes back on,

Aaron Boone has slowly but surely made Hall of Fame manager Joe Torre feel like he belongs back in uniform with the Yankees.

Boone said Torre has given him lots of advice over the past eight years, and pops into his office at Yankee Stadium occasionally.
