First, download the LDPlayer 9 installer from its official website. Once downloaded, double-click on the installer and follow the on-screen steps to download and install the emulator.

Microsoft first released the Visual Studio Emulator for Android for Windows users last year, but during its event today promised that Mac users will also soon gain access.

Microsoft said support for the Android emulator will be coming soon, but didn't give an exact timeframe. Mac users can sign-up to be notified when it's available from the Visual Studio website.

The new tool is currently available in preview, but it comes with the Visual Studio 2015 preview, so to get the emulator you’ll have to download the full package from the Microsoft Download Center.
