Type the port number, if required, into the "Port" box. Type the name of the DB2 database into the "Enter Database" field. Click the "Info" button to test the connect and view driver information.

Before you can use Oracle SQL Developer or MySQL Workbench, you need to connect to a database server. Both tools support various types of connections, such as JDBC, ODBC, SSH, or cloud services.

To do so, you need to go to developer.oracle.com. Then, click on Downloads > Database. You then have to scroll down to reach Developers Tools and then click on SQL Developer.
