Embraer Legacy 650 operators concede that there are more luxurious, larger cabin, higher flying, faster cruising and longer range large-cabin business aircraft than the aircraft they fly.

Two Legacy 650 prototypes are taking part in the certification campaign. Flight and ground tests are near completion, Embraer said, with about 95% of total test hours already completed.

The first flight of a Legacy 650 prototype took place Sept. 23, 2009, at Embraer’s flight-test facility in Gavião Peixoto, Brazil. A second Legacy 650 flew the next day in São José dos Campos.
