kellertk commented Mar 6, 2023 The JS v3 SDK no longer supports exporting a global credential object, which is used by our action. A major rewrite of the action and our tests is needed to support v3.

The SDK supports Amazon’s web identity federation feature (you wouldn’t want to add your AWS credentials in your HTML and JavaScript, after all).
