Some 200 miles east of Florida's Atlantic Coast is Tropical Storm Imelda, which is expected to strengthen into a hurricane. Several hundred miles east of Imelda is Hurricane Humberto, which was a Category 4 storm with sustained winds of 140 mph on Monday afternoon,
South Florida stays breezy on Tuesday with wind gusts as high as 25 to 30 mph. The chance of rain will be lower Tuesday due to drier air filtering in across South Florida as Imelda continues to lift northward. It will eventually move northeastward away from the U.S.

The primary threat the storm currently poses is hazardous maritime conditions that is likely to cause rough surf/rip currents.
The struggling Dolphins appear to at least be getting a break on bad weather. Forecasters say it likely won’t affect the game, as recent forecasts keep the worst impacts of now Tropical Storm Imelda offshore and far from Hard Rock Stadium. But some rain and blustery wind can’t be ruled out.
