Manchester United’s battle with Newcastle United for the signature of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko took a huge twist this evening according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.A tale of two

Newcastle United have made a second bid for Benjamin Sesko worth €80m (£69.7m) plus €10m (£8.7m) in add-ons, according to reports. The Magpies are in a transfer race with Manchester United to sign the RB Leipzig striker and are now in a ‘strong position’ to land his signature.

TBR Football have stated that Sesko will make a decision on his future, on Wednesday, as to which club he would prefer to join. As well as Newcastle, Manchester United are also showing an interest in signing Sesko. The Magpies have already made a £65.5million bid for the Slovenia international.
