Max Scherzer’s MLB return is imminent. The Toronto Blue Jays’ right-handed star made another start for Triple-A Buffalo, this one on Wednesday night, and this one better than his last. He threw the desired 75 pitches, an important mark in building back up to the majors.
Wednesday night featured a matchup between a first-time All-Star and a future Hall-of-Famer, both on rehab assignments.
Max Scherzer is coming. He’s taken the long road, derailed by that nuisance of a right thumb, but it finally feels like Scherzer is ready to return to the surging Blue Jays.
