The Baltimore Ravens are calling in the big guns… to teach them how to swim. Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps says he will provide lessons to his hometown NFL team, which posted a plea for his help and claimed that a third of its players—around 17—never learned how to swim.

Phelps, a Baltimore native, is a longtime fan of the Ravens. During a 2004 game, the team brought him as their special guest, and again in 2012, the Olympian was honored at a home game when he lead the team's offense onto the field.

The Baltimore Ravens are set to receive swimming lessons from arguably the greatest swimmer of all time. Ravens fan and Olympic legend Michael Phelps has agreed to teach Ravens players how to swim. The Ravens recently added a new recovery pool to their facility as a part of renovations to their Under Armour Performance Center.
