The Las Vegas Grand Prix and Formula 1 have officially confirmed a deal to keep racing through 2027, although both parties want to continue beyond the current decade.

Las Vegas looks destined to become a permanent fixture on the Formula 1 calendar, after officials confirmed a new contract has been agreed through to the end of 2027.

Las Vegas is one of three U.S. cities to host a race weekend on the current calendar, alongside Miami and Austin.
